Aswat Masriya (MENA)_ President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, affirmed that the Egyptian Constitution will not be touched, adding that the end of his presidential term in 2030 is completely settled and will not be discussed, stressing that the Egyptian state is rich in its competent sons.
President Sisi said during the celebration of the graduation of new batches of students from the Academy and Military Colleges: “Allow me to point out an important matter.. and I ask everyone on the podium, and in the celebration grounds, just as I ask the great people of Egypt to hear me: A few days ago at the cultural symposium, I spoke about the dangers of the current stage, and while talking about these challenges, I mentioned that the Egyptian Constitution will not be touched, and while we were at the academy, two journalists spoke with me – namely Mr. Nashaat El-Dahibi and Mr. Mustafa Bakri – and said: Well, what next.. and are you reassured by this procedure? So I affirmed that this procedure is sound and that the end of my presidential term of the state in 2030 is a completely settled matter and will not be discussed.”
The President added: “I will not leave the Egyptian state except while it is rich in its sons capable of bearing responsibility.”
