Cairo – Mubasher: Today's trading session, Sunday, witnesses the commencement of subscription and trading of rights for the capital increase of Qorra Energy Projects from EGP 450 million to EGP 855 million.
The subscription window is scheduled to open from October 18 until November 1, 2026 (the subscription window may close early if the total value of the subscription is fully covered).
The subscription value of 20 piasters per share, plus 0.5 piasters issuance fees per share, shall be paid through all branches of Qatar National Bank Alahli (QNB Alahli).
Trading of Subscription Rights
The subscription right shall be traded separately from the original share starting from today, the 18th, until the 27th of the same month, three days prior to the closing of the subscription.
The Operations Committee of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) had decided that the opening price of the right on the first day of trading shall be EGP 2.32 per right.
It was also decided that the price limits for the right shall be calculated based on the available price range for the movement of the original share during the trading session, and that the value determining the closing price for both the original share and the separate right shall be as follows:
• The value determining the closing price of the share ex-subscription right in the capital increase shall be EGP 893,703.51 until the end of the period in which the right is traded separately, where the right is traded separately from October 18, 2026, to October 27, 2026.
• The value determining the closing price of the separate right shall be EGP 821,251.11.
• Starting from the trading session following the end of the separate right trading period, the value determining the closing price of the original share shall be in accordance with the results of the latest review of closing price values on the exchange.
• The values determining the closing price shall be reviewed and recalculated to account for the impact of capital changes.
• In light of the rules and procedures governing margin trading, the values of rights traded separately from the original share shall be added to the value of the underlying original shares when calculating margin trading ratios set out in the governing rules.
This applies from the start of trading the original share ex-right until the end of the rights trading period, provided that the original share is among those eligible for specialized activities.
