Hamdy Ahmed — Engineer Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, announced the opening of applications for premium investment opportunities for foreign investment companies, scheduled to be offered in a number of new cities via the foreign investment website of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), starting from November 1, 2026.
El-Menshawy explained that applications will be submitted through payment using the companies' designated electronic wallets.
The Minister added that this comes within the framework of the Ministry's and NUCA's efforts to enhance real estate investment opportunities and facilitate application procedures for foreign companies, affirming the continued work on developing the electronic system for offering investment opportunities, which contributes to simplifying procedures, enhancing transparency, and providing an attractive and stimulating investment environment for foreign companies wishing to invest in new cities.
For his part, Dr. Waleed Abbas, Deputy Minister of Housing for Urban Communities, clarified that the investment plots scheduled to be offered on the first of next November are considered premium investment opportunities, and a notice with their details has been published on the foreign investment website, allowing foreign companies to review all information regarding the planned opportunities and become acquainted with the available data in preparation for applying upon the commencement of the offering.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ahmed Emara, Supervisor of the Real Estate and Commercial Affairs Sector at NUCA, stated that application for the investment opportunities will commence on November 1, 2026, in accordance with the regulations and procedures announced on the website, emphasizing the importance for companies wishing to apply to prepare and fulfill the requirements of the electronic wallet prior to the offering start date, noting that the investment opportunities planned to be offered will be listed on the NUCA foreign investment website via the link (https://foreigninvest.newcities.gov.eg/#/).
The Ministry of Housing invited foreign companies interested in the offered investment opportunities to fund their electronic wallets and ensure their readiness, thereby guaranteeing the smooth completion of application procedures and benefiting from the scheduled investment opportunities, especially in light of the investment advantages enjoyed by the announced plots.
