Cairo – Mubasher: The Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) announced its non-objection to the publication of the disclosure report of Lecico Egypt regarding proceeding with the procedures for reducing its issued and paid-up capital.
The Authority stated in a statement today that the disclosure report includes reducing the capital from EGP 200 million to EGP 199.97 million, with a reduction amounting to EGP 22.28 thousand.
It pointed out that the reduction will be carried out through the cancellation of 8,913 treasury shares at the nominal value per share of EGP 2.5.
It added that these shares previously represented shares owned by a subsidiary, "Lecico Ceramic Industries", which merged into Lecico Egypt pursuant to the decision of the Chairman of the General Authority for Investment approving the merger on February 18, 2026, and the commercial register was annotated on March 29, 2026.
