Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt aims to achieve tax revenues exceeding EGP 2.4 trillion from four major projects for which the State has signed an agreement with Talaat Moustafa Group to develop, with targeted investments exceeding EGP 11 trillion.
The targeted tax revenues are distributed across the four projects, with more than EGP 700 billion from the North Madinaty project, which has targeted investments of EGP 3.2 trillion, and EGP 375 billion from the Alexandria project with investments amounting to EGP 1.7 trillion.
The State also targets tax revenues worth EGP 1.1 trillion from the Abu Qir project, with targeted investments amounting to EGP 5 trillion, alongside EGP 215 billion from the North Coast project, with investments reaching EGP 970 billion.
The projects include residential, commercial, administrative, industrial, logistical, and tourism activities, and aim to boost investment, production, and exports, and revitalize tourism.
Dr. Moustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, announced during the "Egypt 2026 Forum" today the launch of four major developmental and urban projects in cooperation with the private sector and Talaat Moustafa Group as a strategic partner, in implementation of the State Ownership Policy Document.
The projects will be established on a total area of up to 37 million square meters, aiming to establish integrated urban communities and smart infrastructure, supporting population expansion and creating an attractive investment environment.
The total investments for the projects are estimated at approximately EGP 11 trillion, and they are expected to generate tax returns for the state treasury estimated at about EGP 2 trillion, alongside providing about 6 million direct and indirect job opportunities.
