Eng. Randa Al-Minshawi, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, stated that El Shorouk City Development Authority will hold the 18th public lottery for the allocation of land plots to citizens who paid the down payments for the land areas whose status has been adjusted in the "Al-Rabia" area of the city. The lottery will take place tomorrow, Thursday, October 22, 2026, at the Authority’s headquarters, according to the specified area brackets and in the presence of qualifying citizens who satisfied all conditions and procedures.
Al-Minshawi affirmed that the Ministry of Housing, represented by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), continues its efforts to finalize the status adjustment procedures for annexed lands across several new cities. This comes as part of the State's commitment to managing land-related matters, ensuring urban and social stability, and accelerating development rates in these areas.
Eng. Mohamed Zakaria, Head of El Shorouk City Development Authority, clarified that the 18th manual public lottery will be conducted according to the following land area brackets: "209 m² – 276 m²" within the "Al-Rabia" area.
He added that attendance will begin at 10:00 AM and doors will be closed at exactly 12:00 PM on the day of the public lottery. Eligible citizens will be permitted to attend upon presenting official proof of identity and the original payment receipt.
