The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and New Urban Communities announced the offering of a group of land plots as investment opportunities in the cities of New Alamein and New Port Said, within the framework of supporting the investment climate and enhancing opportunities to attract investments in new cities.
Applications for Investment Opportunities in New Alamein Open 1/11/2026 via Foreign Investment Portal
Eng. Randa Al-Minshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and New Urban Communities, clarified that regarding the investment opportunities in New Alamein City, applications will open starting 1/11/2026 via the Foreign Investment Portal on the website of the New Urban Communities Authority.
She emphasized the necessity for companies and investors wishing to apply for the offered investment opportunities to complete the procedures for creating and activating the e-wallet on the Foreign Investment Portal, as it is one of the necessary requirements to complete the application process and settle amounts due in accordance with the approved mechanism.
The Minister added that regarding the city of New Port Said, the terms and conditions brochure has been made available at the headquarters of the City Development Authority. Applications for the offered investment opportunities—which include land plots allocated for residential activity and others for mixed-use activity—will be received until November 5, 2026. The land allocation will be conducted through a public draw to be held on November 10, 2026.
Opportunities Offered in New Alamein Include Several Land Plots in Diverse Locations and Activities
In this context, Dr. Eng. Mohamed Khalafallah, Head of the New Alamein City Development Authority, explained that the investment opportunities offered in New Alamein City include a number of land plots across various locations and activities. These include the Central Services Area on Road C3, featuring Plot No. 22 with an area of 4,136.2 m² for commercial-hotel activity, Plot No. 25 with an area of 4,663.2 m² for commercial activity, Plot No. 29 with an area of 4,490.09 m² for commercial activity, Plot No. 43 with an area of 8,655.54 m² for commercial-administrative-residential activity, Plot No. 20 with an area of 3,610.5 m² for commercial-administrative-residential activity, and Plot No. 50 with an area of 3,061.8 m² for commercial-administrative-residential activity.
The offered opportunities also include Plot No. 32 with an area of 5,550 m² for residential activity only in the housing district, along with Plot No. 4 with an area of 33.4 feddans and Plot No. 5 with an area of 47.9 feddans, both for mixed urban development activity south of the International Coastal Road.
The Head of the New Alamein City Development Authority reaffirmed that these investment opportunities come as part of the commitment to boosting investment in the city and highlighting its promising potential, thereby supporting the attraction of new investments and contributing to urban and economic development targets. Investment Opportunities in New Port Said Include 20 Land Plots for Residential and Mixed Use, Allocation via Public Draw
In the same context, Eng. Ashraf Al-Samaligi, Head of the New Port Said City "Salam" Development Authority, stated that 20 land plots for residential and mixed-use activities have been offered under the public draw allocation system, comprising 12 residential plots and 8 mixed-use plots, in accordance with the announced terms and regulations.
The Head of the Authority confirmed that site inspections of the land plots are available for those wishing to enter the public draw during official working hours.
