Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) stated that Suez Canal Bank has submitted documents for listing the shares of the bank's issued and paid-up capital increase from EGP 10 billion to EGP 15 billion.
The EGX explained in a disclosure today that the increase amounts to EGP 5 billion through the issuance of 500 million shares (via the distribution of bonus shares) at a nominal value of EGP 10 per share, funded from the shareholders' share in profit distributions as appearing in the financial statements for 2025.
It added that the documents submitted by the bank are currently being reviewed, completed, and studied in preparation for submission to the EGX Listing Committee.
