Cairo – Mubasher: The financial statements of Abu Qir Fertilizers and Chemical Industries Company showed a 103% year-on-year increase in the company's profits during the first nine months of the current year.
According to the company's financial statements submitted to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), the company achieved a net profit after tax of EGP 12.97 billion during the period from January until the end of September 2026, compared to EGP 6.39 billion during the comparative period of 2025.
The company's revenues from operations rose during the first nine months of the current year to record EGP 31.488 billion, compared to EGP 16.577 billion in the same period of the previous year, with a growth rate of 90%.
The company attributed the increase in net profit after tax to several key factors, including:
– Regular operation of the company's plants, benefiting from the stability of natural gas supplies.
– Completion of maintenance work and efficiency enhancement for Abu Qir (1) and Abu Qir (3) plants.
– Growth in sales volumes and values by 22% and 91%, respectively, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
– Increase in export volumes and values by 55% and 111%, respectively, due to opening new markets, in addition to achieving significant growth in local market sales compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
– Increase in average selling prices (local and export) during the financial period ending on 30/9/2026 compared to the same period of the previous year.
– Adopting a balanced and rational sales policy aimed at maximizing returns while expanding into new export markets and enhancing the company's global presence.
